THE CONTINENTAL

PURPOSE
The Continental seeks to provide unique perspectives on finance, business, economics, politics, geopolitics through an American perspective. Providing insights for American policy and society is the objective of our writing.

Economy
The Continental aims to defend the free enterprise system, argue against the excesses of financialization, and promote an economy that uses capitalism to serve
the country and all its stakeholders.
Politics
The Continental’s aim is to contribute toward
a visionary understanding of the future of American politics, moving beyond the focus on short-term party politics and election cycles toward a more innovative future. The Continental seeks to expound the unique virtues of the American republican system and to explore what has made it so strong.
Foreign Policy
The Continental writes at a time of increasing competition between America and China. The Continental advocates for cohesive American policy in addressing this competition, rather than turning a blind eye. The writers of The Continental affirm American world leadership and a prudent exercising of our global influence, not conceding spheres of influence to American adversaries and nations that may be inclined against the American system.
“Ignorance is the curse of God; knowledge is the wing wherewith we fly to heaven.”
